Bio
Esteban is an audiovisual storyteller with a background in journalism based in Denver, CO. He has 6 years of experience creating video documentaries, spots, and music videos. His work is centered in advancing human rights through the power of storytelling and showcasing the vast diversity of queer identities.
Most recently he was the audiovisual director in Mas Igualdad Peru (More Equality Peru), an internationally-funded nonprofit organization that promotes LGBTQIA+ rights. Aside from Mas Igualdad, Esteban offered his services as a freelancer to businesses and organizations like: Save the Children, Amnesty International Peru, Trenzar, Promsex, Demus, and Allpa.
In 2020 he edited Invasion Drag, a documentary about 33 drag performers from Rupaul’s Drag Race who toured Peru between 2017 and 2018 despite the lack of rights for LGBTQIA+ people in the country.
Beyond his work in human rights, he directed, filmed, and produced music videos for independent Peruvian artists like Yanna, Eme, and Antay.
